CEO Update to our Community: COVID-19 & Lionbridge: April 20, 2020


Dear Community Partner,

During this period of economic uncertainty, Lionbridge remains focused on putting our people first while delivering for customers. Businesses of all shapes and sizes continue to rely on Lionbridge and our virtual community of language and content specialists to carry out their work, including large numbers of COVID-19-related projects.

While there are some positive signs that paths are forming for the global economy to start slowly reopening, we are actively exploring ways to support our partners and bring you new opportunities. One such initiative is an exciting new translation project that will be delivered on our user-friendly online platform, Gengo.com. This is a special language project that involves translating text strings of general content from various online resources. While some sectors of the economy are operating as usual (albeit virtually), others are inevitably slowing down as companies make tough decisions for the long-term health of their businesses. We will continue looking for creative ways to activate our flexible production model to match talent with work opportunities across our business.
